AIDS



I wrote this tutorial in honor
of World AIDS Day. Too many people
continue to be affected by this disease.
Not everyone has the medicine that
countries like my own do.

Supplies:
Tube of choice.
No Scraps Needed


Open a banner image
600x250.
Open tube of choice.

On the banner image,
Choose your font tool.
Select a block type font.
I used impact.
Stroke width 2
Foreground stroke black
Fill null

Make sure your caps lock is on.
Type out AIDS or word of choice.
Expand as wanted.
Objects align center in canvas.
Convert to raster.

Click inside the letters with magic wand.
Hold shift button down to select mulitple letters.
Selections modify expand 1

Open a 2nd banner & fill with red
or color of choice.
Copy and paste as a new layer onto main banner.
Selections invert & press delete.
Move the color layer under the word outline.

Paste your tube of choice as a new layer
between the two letter layers.
Press delete.
Select none.

Change the blend mode on the tube layer
to luminace.
Add a drop shadow to the tube &
letter outline layers
2,2,50,5 Black

Now on the bottom layer of the banner,
Paste your tube on one side of the banner.
Duplicate it once & mirror it.
I arranged it so the faces are showing from behind the
word.

I typed out a saying & arrnaged it under the main
word. I did stroke width 1 to give the text an outline color.
Fill was black and stroke color was red.
Also add a drop shadow and use earlier settings.

Merge layers visible.
Adjust add border 2
Color of choice.

Add copyright info to tag.
Add name of choice.

To do the name like I did,
type it out & convert to raster
Image free rotate 90
Move to side of the banner.
Duplicate once - mirror & flip.
Arrange as wanted.

Save as jpeg or png.
