Unseemly Appropriate

This tutorial was written

For this tutorial, I’m using
The art of Kat NKDA
You need a license to use
her artwork which can be purchased at
Her website


Supplies:
Tube of choice & closeup
Scrap of choice.
Im using one called Boudoir
Also by Kat NKDA.
Mask used is part of scrapkit
Wordart by Viring Art

Eye Candy 4000 –optional
Font Ion

1) Open a 600x600 new image.
Open a tree type tube.
I’m using one by Kat NKDA.
Resize as needed.
I resized 35%.
C&P as new layer.

2) Duplicate & mirror tree tube.
Add drop shadows
2,2,50, 5 black.
Open tube of choice & resize as needed.
I resized 26%.
C&P as new layer.
Add drop shadow.

3) Open a paper of choice.
Resize as needed.
I resized 25%.
You can colorize also at this point
If you wish.
C&P as new layer above background layer.

4) Apply mask of choice.
I used one which came with the scrapkit.
Mask 02 Inverted.
Merge group.
Resize this layer 120%.
Duplicate once.
Flip
Lower opacity to about 45
On the top mask layer.

5) Open a frame of choice.
Resize as needed.
I resized 25%.
Open a paper of choice & resize
As needed & colorize if needed.

6) Back on the frame, click inside
The frame with magic wand,
Selections modify expand 20
C&P paper as new layer.
Selecitons invert & delete.
Move under frame.

7) Resize your close up as needed.
Paste as new layer between frame & paper layers.
Press delete.
Now select none.
Drop shadow the tube & frame layers.
Merge together.

8) Paste as new layer onto main tag.
Resize this layer by 50% & 70% each once.
Positon as wanted.
Duplicate once & also position as wanted.

9) Add any wordart you wish on the tag at this point.
If needed, add a gradient glow with
Eye Candy 4000.
Add a drop shadow.

10)Resize all layers 88%.
Add copyright info & name.
Save as jpeg or png.
