Dear Diary

This tutorial was written

tutorial is purely coincidental.
For this tutorial, I’m using
a tube closeup by Ismael Rac.
You can find it at
his store Xeracx

Supplies:
Tube closeup of choice
Scrap of choice.
I’m using one by Clareys Designz
Called Dear Diary.
It is available at Stargazers Scraps
Here

Open a 600x600 new image.
Open your tube closeup & scrap supplies.

Choose a frame of choice.
Paste as a new layer.

Click inside the frame with
your magic wand tool.
Selections modify expand by 5

Paste a paper of choice as
a new layer.
Selections invert & press delete.
Move the paper layer under the frame.
Keep selected.

Paste your tube closeup between
the two layers.
Duplicate once & move the 2nd layer
to the top in your layer palette.

Back on the original closeup layer,
press delete.
Select none.
On the 2nd layer, erase any parts
showing past the bottom of the frame.
which you do not want seen.

Add a drop shadow to the original
tube layer.
2,2,50,5 black

Open a button element.
Resize 70%
Paste on one side of the frame
by your closeup.
Duplicate once & mirror.

Open a letter clothesline element.
Resize 70%
Rotate free rotate 15 right
Paste on the bottom half of the frame.
Add a drop shadow to the clothesline.

In the layer palette,
move the clothesline under the button layers.
You want the buttons to be at the end
of each end of the clothesline.

Open a hanging key on a
ribbon/rope. Resize 50%
Arrange on the tag so that the key
is hanging from a button.
Add the earlier drop shadow.

Open wordart from scrapkit.
Resize 70%
Paste as new layer onto tag
& arrange as wanted.
Add a drop shadow to the wordart.

Merge layers visible.
Resize 88%
Add copyright info & name.
Save as png.
