Owl Tree



For this tutorial, it creates a scene & not your
typical tag. I did the design with a Girl Scout Troop in
mind of my daughter. Their mascot are owls.

Supplies:
No tube is needed outside of the scrap
Scrap of choice.
I’m using one by designs by sarah
Called Whoo Loves Ya
It is available at Pimp My Tags
with Scraps
Here

Open a 600x600 new image.
Open your scrap supplies.
I did not use any other tube
except those found in the scrap itself.

Open a tree element.
Resize 85%
Paste as a new layer.

Open the owls included in the scrap.
Resize each one 20%
Paste the owls on the branches of the
tree. I used 3 different owls.
Add a drop shadow to the owls
2,2,50,5 black

Open two standing flowers. Resize 40%
Paste one on each side of the tree base.
Add a drop shadow
2,2,50,5 Black

Open a standing branch.
Resize 50%
Paste on bottom layer behind
& to side of tree.
Duplicate once & mirror.

Open the birdbath element.
Resize 20%
Paste by a bottom corner of the tree.

Now open one of the owls again.
This time resize 15%
Position on the birdbath.

Open two single flowers.
Resize each one 15%
Paste along the ends of the branches
of the tree.

Merge layers visible.
Add word text of choice.
Make sure to add a drop shadow to the text.
Add name to the image.
Save as png.
