Hallowed

This tutorial was written

Supplies:
Tube of choice.
Scrap of choice.
I’m using one by Gothic Inspirirations
Called Gothic Journey.
It is a PTU kit.
There is also a free sampler that is available for part of this .
GothicInspirations

Open a new image 600x600.
Open tube & scrap supplies of choice.

Open font of choice.
Foreground black
Fill null
Large size.
With caps on, type out word of choice.
Convert to raster

Click inside the letters with magic wand.
Hold shift down while doing this to keep
all the letters selected.

Selections modify expand by 1
Paste scrap paper as new layer.
Selections invert & press delete.
Move paper layer under word outline.
Select none.
Add a drop shadow to the outline layer
2,2,50,5 Black

Open tree stump from the sampler.
Paste on the bottom layer.
Arrange behind the word layers.
Add a drop shadow.

Paste your tube as new layer.
Position in front of the word layers.
Add a drop shadow.

Open the spider tube from sampler kit.
Resize 20%.
Paste & Position as if crawling on the word.
Add a drop shadow.

Open the smoke from the main kit.
Resize 50%
Paste & position on bottom layer & to the side.
You want it to appear behind everything.
Duplicate once & mirror.

Open the crow/raven tube.
Resize 50% twice.
Paste as if perching on a letter.
Add a drop shadow.
Drop shadow both smoke layers.

Open flying bats.
Resize 88%
Position on tag behind the tree stump
but above the smoke layers.
Add a drop shadow.

Merge all layers visible.
Resize them 88%
Add copyright info & name.
