Doorway To Fall

This tutorial was written

For this tutorial, I’m using
The art of Elias Chatzoudis.

MPT. The tube I chose is a Limited
Edition tube only available during September.

Supplies:
Tube of choice.
Scrap of choice.
I’m using one by Gothic Inspirirations
Called Forever Fall.
It is a PTU kit.
Scrap

Doorway to Fall

Open a 600x600 new image.
Open your tube & scrap supplies.

Open a wooden door.
Resize 75%.
Paste as new layer.

Open standing bushes.
Resize 50%
Paste as new layer.
Arrange as if coming out from
behind the door.
Duplicate once & mirror.
Add a drop shadow to both bushes.

You can do this with different flowers
as well to create a more colorful background.

Open tall grass.
Paste as new layer.
Arrange behind the standing bush.
Add a drop shadow.
Duplicate once & mirror.

Open fall leaves.
Paste on the bottom layer.
Add a drop shadow.

Open your main tube.
Paste as a new layer.
Add a drop shadow.

Oepn a bird tube.
Resize by 50% twice.
Position on the doorknob.

Open dragonflies.
Paste as new layer.
Arrange under your main tube layer.
Add a drop shadow.

Open catskills.
Resize 70%
Paste on one side of the door.
Arrange between the layers of plants.

Open a candlestick tube.
Resize by 50% twice.
Paste on either side of the doorway.
Add drop shadows.

Repeat the above with pumpkins.
I positioned them behind the candlesticks.

Oepn an autumn leaf.
Resize 50%.
Position in layer palette under the doorway.
Arrange the leaf as if peeking out from behind
the door at the corners.
Duplicate once & mirror.

Merge layers together.
Duplicate once
On the bottom layer,
adjust blur gauassian 15

On the top layer, draw out a circle
using preset shape.
Do not convert to raster.

Select your font tool
Position on the vector circle
under the half circle appears under the "A"
Once there type out your text.
Convert to raster.

Duplicate once.
Mirror & flip.
Drop shadow both text layers.

Resize all layers 88%.
Add copyright info & name.
Save as jpeg or png.
